The basic approach is to implement development program based on the felt needs of the people with an effort to mobilize people’s participation for Individuals community development. One of the objectives of this organization is to render counseling, supportive for individuals, families suffering from emotional and various other problems. The organization also carries out a range of community-based, action oriented, people centered program and activities for the welfare, advancement & empowerment of needy, poor, deprived & socially disadvantaged section in the community, irrespective of caste, creed, sex, and status.

To work with the marginalized sections of the society for women and children towards enabling them to evolve into a vision of an alternative society including alternate models of social, economic relations and alternate development paradigm.

Medical Awareness Programs

Karuna Seva Samithi in collaboration with Lionce Club and other organizations conduct free medical camps every 6 months for deprived communities. The programs that have been organized so far are - Eye check-up camp, General health check-up and Diabetes hypertension check-up.
Help desk for women, widow, handicapped and elderly people.

Ksheera Bhagya Program

Ksheera Bhagya Program was started in 2013, in the month of August. This program aims at making sure that children are served nutritious food to help them grow and study better. 4000 children are fed milk early in the morning before their classes start in order to ensure that these children don't go hungry.
Akshara Dasoha (Mid Day Meals Program)

Karuna Seva Samithi runs a mid-day meal program which are provided to government schools in Bangalore. This program was specifically started to increase the enrollment rates in such schools. 4000 children from 20 schools have benefited from this program so far.
